Trauma Responsive School Communities

In this train the trainer model, Kym facilitates learning with school mental health staff, principals, and administrators in after school, early childhood, and out of school time to be able to train others in their systems to create and refine policies and practices to assure a trauma responsive school community. This train the trainer model is more in depth than other trainings that Kym offers, uses implementation science over time through coaching sessions in order to apply practices, set goals, dive deep into data, problem-solve and adjust based on each participant’s school or site needs.

****Required that participants have already completed Trauma Responsive Practices 101 and 102 OR are able to pass a pre-test about trauma responsive care. This is a more advanced training about becoming the facilitator of trauma responsive practices and how to support others in implementing those practices at your site/school.
