Participants will learn:

  • How to facilitate trauma-responsive training for staff in their programs or schools

  • Best practices for implementation that stick

  • Strategies for ongoing support to refine policies and practices

  • Teach others how to respond—rather than react—to behaviors, trauma, and crises

  • Focus is on connection through a Polyvagal Lens

Grounded in Implementation Science

This training uses an implementation science framework, paired with follow-up coaching sessions, to ensure learning turns into lasting action. Coaching sessions will help participants:

  • Apply practices effectively in real settings

  • Set measurable goals and track progress

  • Use data to guide decision-making

  • Problem-solve implementation challenges

  • Adapt practices to meet the unique needs of each school or site

Who Should Attend

School-based leaders and mental health staff ready to take trauma-responsive practices to the next level and train others in their community.

Prerequisite

Participants must have completed Trauma Responsive Practices 101 and 102 or pass a pre-training assessment demonstrating equivalent knowledge. This ensures everyone enters with a strong foundation in trauma-responsive care.
